I'm very happy with my life. I have found freedom in being alone, and enjoy all aspects of living independently. Happiness is an inside job, and takes effort. I've put in the time and effort, and I'm pleased with the results. There is a mountain of difference between needing and wanting. There is nothing | "need" from a man, and before you conclude
"oh great, she's one of those" , hear me out. My independence is wrought from necessity. When circumstances dictate your next move, you step up, and I did, so I am completely self-sufficient. As I want to be "wanted" not "needed", my hope is that you understand that, and want the same. I'm looking for a connection beyond the physical, stimulating adventures, and a man that supports my growth yet challenges me intellectually. I love deep conversations, a good story, and a good joke, not in any particular order l'm looking for a I'm looking for a long-term relationship and wanting to take the slow road to get there.

I work (and travel for work) a lot because I'm passionate about what I do. I don't see that changing anytime soon. I have no plans to retire.

I am a self-avowed, whole food plant based health enthusiast. That means I don't eat meat or dairy. I began eating this way for health reasons, but as time goes on, I now cannot imagine eating an animal. After lots of inner work, I love being in the present and feeling all the things I'm meant to feel. Alcohol is "feelings" prohibitive, so l choose not to imbibe.
No judgement on those that drink, however, daily and weekend drinking are not part of my lifestyle, so keep that in mind.

I'm up for active fun: hiking, camping (I have an rv), skiing, sailing and scuba are in my bucket list to learn.
I'm a former dancer, and get in a ballet class every now and then at the Houston Ballet. I also like to run in the spring and summer months. I also train with weights (I have my own bench, so not a gym person). I don't believe there is anything I can't learn, and I'm an avidly curious person. I do love to laugh, and a sharp-witted, dry humor will get me every time. Best of luck to everyone, and I hope you find what you are wanting.
