Shalom! I am interested in finding a woman who would make Aliyah with me! Although the U.S. has been my home since birth, I wish to "go home." Several years ago, I discovered that my great grandfather had moved to the U.S. from Germany and changed our family name from Schmid to Smith. And more importantly, he hid his Jewish origins. His son, my grandfather, would join the Catholic religion. My own father would only live with my mother for a year. So, I grew up removed from any of this history. When I found out about this history, I was elated! It explained my love for Bagels! Ha! So, here I am, converted and ready to marry a woman who would understand my aversion to Christmas, Easter, and all things Catholic. My desire to find an American Jewish princess before relocating to Israel, is due to wanting to share a similar American upbringing. I believe it would make the transition easier. For then we could both share in the discovery of returning home! I am an avid mountain biker, backpacker, and outdoor enthusiast. I love to run and play volleyball. It would be a blessing to have these things in common. I play violin and love to sing. I am also a major researcher and history enthusiast.
