Age 77 (age and photos are accurate). Widowed. Working as Chief Consultant on a project to find the alternative that will stop the black market in body organs. Non Smoker. Fit. Two daughters ages 48 and 25… like to space my children.

Tastes range: from the Mets at Citi Field to the Met at Lincoln Center; from the free movement of Jackson Pollock to the precision of Bach; from Albee’s theater of the absurd to the burlesque and slapstick of Mel Brooks and let’s not forget the neuroticism of Woody Allen; prefer “movies” to “films… at this stage of my life I want to be entertained ; from walking along a quiet beach to running the rapids of the Colorado; from being with one special person to going one on one in basketball with my grandchildren… provided my wind holds out.

Love games; play poker and fantasy football. Yes, I am also a football fanatic. Been published. Quoted and misquoted in the New York Times. Dropped the winning pass for the New York City High School Football Championship; was a Jeopardy winner… indicates that I know more about nothing than most people and am so rounded that when pushed I roll. Served in the U.S. Army. Am involved: Was president of a non-profit mental health clinic; served on the board of a recognized regional theater, symphony orchestra, national health organization; and a number of Jewish organizations.

Politics: Undeterminable but as I grow older I find myself becoming more and more liberal… used to be a Libertarian… seemed like a good idea at the time. As a young man someone once described my philosophy as “right of Genghis Khan’s” and my life style as “left of whoopee”… still think there is a lot of the “whoopee” left. Would like to meet a woman who desires to be an equal partner in a mutually supportive relationship. She must be highly intelligent, informed, well rounded… hopefully in intellect only... but as Jack Lemon said to Joe E. Brown at the end of “Some Like it Hot”… “No one is perfect".

I am a survivor. I can overcome almost anything. I can accept loss without feeling defeated. That my, wits, the ability to take calculated risks, and something called “street smarts” could take me anywhere.

Perhaps my greatest achievement was being the single parent to my oldest daughter. That said, my second greatest achievement was sharing joint custody with my former wife, a physician and one of the most important people in my life… but that’s a more intimate story and much to worthy to be placed on a Jewish dating site.

My past relationships have all been different and were totally dependent on my age and level of maturity or emotional growth. For some people maturity and emotional growth takes longer to cultivate… I know it did for me.

Confident, engaging, highly intelligent and unpredictable woman turn me on. In fact, being around men who have those characteristics also excites me... I just have no desire to go to bed with them.
