I'm different, upbeat and sometimes tend to react as if I lived in a different culture.
I was born in Argentina, grew up in Israel, came to the US ten years ago, and live in an intentional community. Living in a social setting which extends beyond the immediate family or the context of a couple is sometimes considered unusual and is occasionally still associated with the communal lifestyle of the 60s. That is a misperception. My friends and I are hard-working people who enjoy each other?s company. We work, come home, hang out and watch movies, talk, just like our neighbors.

Most of my friends have partnered, and I would like to join that level of intimacy with my man. My friends tell me they appreciate my quirky sense of humor, my livliness and my general joi de vivre.

The man I'd like to meet does not need to join me in my community, but I would like him to accept the fact that I will probably stay here. My hope is that we will divide our time in both his place and mine.

What else I would like my loved one to be like? I would like him to like the way he looks and strive to be healthy. It would be great if he was articulate, had the ability to laugh at himself more than laughing at others. He would be interested in partnering and know that it aint easy but it?s worth it. He works and enjoys what he does for the most part.

There are many things I would like to explore in NYC, maybe could do it together - visit the different museums, see off-off-Broadway plays, listen to live music, or go dancing.
Nevertheless I prefer that our outings did not cost much.

In general I love my life. I see myself being very lucky to be living in these times in this place being me.
