I do 'want' a man in my life (very much so, if I'm honest with myself), but only if his presence makes my life happier and fuller, and only if I can make a positive difference in his life as well. It can be as simple as the pleasure of a kiss, a dance or a shared theater experience, the enjoyment of an exciting trip; it can also be, on a deeper level, a reassuring gesture having to do with knowing support or loving understanding, but that takes time... |
