| I Would Describe Myself As | I am an herbalist by profession and passion. I love to explore the outdoors, whether on foot, bike, kayak or canoe. I have a great sense of humor and love to dance, whether it is swing lessons or a rock concert. I like many different styles of music and am an amateur musician myself. I have my intellectual side as well, and when I am preparing to teach a class, or doing research for some other reason, you will find that I can get quite absorbed - books and papers covering the dining room table and needing to remind myself to take breaks. Lately I have been exploring Judaism in more depth than in the past, and I am excited to visit Israel for the first time this summer.
